OVIWrite represents my interests in the intersection between literature and tech.
This is an Integrated Writing Environment (IWE) purpose built for my writing needs, using open source technology: Vim, NeoVim, Git and their associated eco-systems being the primary sources of raw material that I cobbled together to create an instrument for writing that would allow me to write, edit and world-build at the speed of thought.

Vimkipedia: Or How I Built My Second Brain Using Vim
Using OVIWrite I am able to work on my novels (using LaTeX), build a Personal Knowledge Management wiki (a digital second brain), write screenplays (using Fountain syntax), blog, write reports, all in one tool; all version controlled using Git.
These are tools traditionally associated with software engineers, but I realized that they have unexplored applicability for us non-programmer types. It is currently in beta stage, and is being used by a dozen or so writers from across the world. Check out the Github page for more details
I also presented my use-case at the annual Vim and NeoVim conferences in 2021 and 2022.
